The second performance of Attrition's Canadian tour.... and just as magical as Ottawa!

The first date on Attrition's Canadian tour.... and it was INCREDIBLE!

I performed in Attrition at Wave Gotik Treffen..... quite an experience!

My first performance in Attrition!

A show that in no small way has completely altered my relationship with the Gothic scene.

The last show of the summer... and by far the best! Heavy metal fans are the greatest fans and music lovers in the world! The other bands (Memories Forgotten, Solsikk, and The Forge) were fantastic!

Oh... and I finally played "Shards" with glass! Still not quite as I intend it to be, but it's getting there. I hope to unleash a bigger, better, glassier version this Autumn. ;)

An incredibly bizarre night that I wouldn't trade in for anything! I truly feel like I spent a night in the 1960's.

*I abandoned my crappy 61-key, touch-sensitive keyboard and ran diagonally across the room to play the real piano for this song... without a mic. It was - by far - the most organic performance of my life so far!*

It was one of those bizarre night when you run into someone you didn't expect to see that you had potential to have a history with.... hmmmm.... made me think of people I DO have a history with, and overall, it was a painful performance to get through. Particularly "Love Always Dies."

If I do say so myself... I was awesome! One of my best performances yet. "Corner of My Eye" is somewhat of a work-in-progress live... and I think I'm close to nailing it! I didn't do the glass smashing for "Shards." The schedule for sound check - and for the whole night - was quite behind, and there just wasn't enough time to get everything set up properly. I am thinking about unveiling the glass smashing at Bridge House II on August 9th, where I am sure to get lots of support to pull it off properly!

It was a shame that I had to rush off to Temple Meads to catch my train back to London... but I enjoyed it while I was there.

Piccadilly Circus on a Saturday fucking night, and I'd have been better off playing in front of a mirror... at least I would have had one captive audience member.

A fantastic turn out! I was kind of rubbish, but it was the first time I was performing (not on a radio station or in a recording studio) in over two years, so I suppose I won't be too hard on myself.
